Description

The survey will collect data on the abundance and distribution non-breeding waterbirds on Durham Coast, in particular Purple Sandpiper (Calidris maritima), Sanderling (Calidris alba) and Turnstone (Arenaria interpres).

Renewal Options

The contract has been designed to include a 4 month extension to allow completion of the end of season survey and preparation of the final report. In addition, there is the option of a further 2 month extension, bringing the total possible extension period to 6 months.
