Description
Hook Parish Council is looking for a local, ecologically based organisation to manage Bassetts Mead as a SANG for up to a 5-year period. The organisation must provide strong evidence of having managed and maintained a SANG site, which will include construction and repairing countryside infrastructure, having the ability to organise volunteer working parties, to manage contractors and have the ability to graze and manage cattle at Bassetts Mead, as well engaging with the public. The successful organisation will be expected to work closely with the Environment and Community (E&C) Officer, with the expectation to attend quarterly meetings to ensure that each area of the site is maintained to the highest level.
