Description

North Ayrshire Council (NAC), in collaboration with South Ayrshire Council (SAC), invites tenders for the supply and delivery of fresh milk and dairy products to Council establishments. The requirement is being tendered as two Lots: Lot 1 – North Ayrshire Council Lot 2 – South Ayrshire Council Tenderers may submit bids for one Lot, or for both Lots. North Ayrshire Council is acting as the Lead Contracting Authority for this procurement process.

Quality Management Procedures The bidder must hold a UKAS (or equivalent) accredited independent third party certificate of compliance in accordance with BS EN ISO 9001 (or equivalent) OR A documented policy regarding quality management. Health and Safety Procedures The bidder must hold a UKAS (or equivalent), accredited independent third party certificate of compliance in accordance with ISO 45001 (or equivalent) or have, within the last 12 months, successfully met the assessment requirements of a construction-related scheme in registered membership of the Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) forum. OR A documented policy regarding health and safety. Environmental Procedures The Bidder must hold a UKAS (or equivalent) accredited independent third party certificate of compliance with BS EN ISO 14001 (or equivalent) or a valid EMAS (or equivalent) certificate. OR A documented policy regarding environmental management. Tenderers must agree to accept North Ayrshire Council’s Terms and Conditions for the Purchase of Goods and any Related Services as the contract will be let on these terms.
