North Ayrshire Council is seeking to appoint a supplier for the supply and delivery of fresh milk and dairy products to Council establishments. This procurement is being undertaken to establish a contract for the supply and delivery of fresh milk and dairy products to Council establishments across a range of services, including schools, early years settings and care facilities. The provision of these products is essential to support the day-to-day operation of these services and ensure the consistent availability of fresh milk and related dairy products. There are approximately 50/55 delivery sites for this lot.

2 South Ayrshire Council

South Ayrshire Council is seeking to appoint a supplier for the supply and delivery of fresh milk and dairy products to Council establishments. This procurement is being undertaken to establish a contract for the supply and delivery of fresh milk and dairy products to Council establishments across a range of services, including schools, early years settings and care facilities. The provision of these products is essential to support the day-to-day operation of these services and ensure the consistent availability of fresh milk and related dairy products. There are approximately 90/100 delivery sites for this lot.

Renewal Options

The Contract may be extended for a period of up to 12 months at the sole discretion of the relevant Council, subject to satisfactory performance & continued operational requirement.

Quality Management Procedures The bidder must hold a UKAS (or equivalent) accredited independent third party certificate of compliance in accordance with BS EN ISO 9001 (or equivalent) OR A documented policy regarding quality management. Health and Safety Procedures The bidder must hold a UKAS (or equivalent), accredited independent third party certificate of compliance in accordance with ISO 45001 (or equivalent) or have, within the last 12 months, successfully met the assessment requirements of a construction-related scheme in registered membership of the Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) forum. OR A documented policy regarding health and safety. Environmental Procedures The Bidder must hold a UKAS (or equivalent) accredited independent third party certificate of compliance with BS EN ISO 14001 (or equivalent) or a valid EMAS (or equivalent) certificate. OR A documented policy regarding environmental management.
