Description

HTE established a framework agreement for the supply of a range of aseptically prepared, batch manufactured anti cancer chemotherapy drugs in ready to administer presentations and agreed dose bands. The framework agreement covers the manufacturing and supply of patient specific chemotherapy. All chemotherapy doses are based on the National Dose Banded Chemotherapy Standardised Product Specifications and National Dose Banding Tables, where a specification exists.

Legal Justification

This modification is made in reliance on Regulation 72(1)(b) of the PCR 2015. It consists of a 7 months extension to the term of the existing framework. This extension is necessary to ensure continuity of supply and to avoid any interruption to services pending publication of the new Chemo Framework. The modification does not alter the overall nature of the framework, and the scope of services remains unchanged. Prices will remain fixed until 31st August 2026, new pricing will apply from 01st September 2026 which will remain fixed until 31st January 2027, after which there will be a change in value to reflect the new pricing structure that will be provided for in the new framework, however, this will not exceed 50% of the value of the original framework agreement.
