Description

This is a contract to provide grounds maintenance services to DCC corporate properties on the expiry of an existing contract at the end of December 2021. The contract will consist primarily of grass cutting and hedge cutting. The contract is for an initial four year period with options to extend annually for a further two years.

Total Quantity or Scope

Devon County Council seeks to engage a single grounds maintenance contractor to provide grounds maintenance services for Devon County Council corporate premises across the county of Devon. The Devon County Council estate comprises corporate office buildings, together with some educational units, Children’s Centres, Social Care Units, Economic Development sites/Business Parks and Libraries. Most establishments incorporate at least the following areas of work: • Regular Grass cutting • Rough Grass and conservation cutting • Hedges • Shrub beds (especially standard shrub beds and shrub bed edging) • Hard Surface Weed Control • Direct labour • Miscellaneous – litter and leaves. The contract will be for a four year period from the 1st of January 2022 until the 31st of December 2025, with a possible 2 year extension to the 31st December 2027. DCC will have the ability to execute a break clause after 24 months. Renewal Options

The contract will be for a four year period from the 1st of January 2022 until the 31st of December 2025, with a possible 2 year extension to the 31st December 2027. DCC will have the ability to execute a break clause after 24 months.
