Tenders were invited by The Council of the Borough of Kirklees (the "Council") from Suppliers appointed to Category 1 - Community Learning, Engagement & Volunteering of the EMP with relevant experience and ability to deliver Adult Learning Kirklees 2022 (the "Services") as detailed in the Further Competition documents.

Total Quantity or Scope

Tenders are invited by … The Council of the Borough of Kirklees (the "Council") wishes to establish a programme of services with a maximum of ten (10) suitable Delivery Partners for Adult Learning in Kirklees. The approximate total value for these services will be £200,000.00 for the entire duration of the programme (1 September 2022 to 31 August 2023). Additional information: Adult Learning Kirklees aims to develop a culture of lifelong learning in the district. We want Kirklees to be a place where the importance of learning throughout life is deep-rooted. Securing economic and social wellbeing for individuals, families and communities and businesses. Partners will work with residents to develop high quality learning opportunities which meet needs across the different stages and spheres of adult life, which contribute to economic growth, and which promote resilience, health, confidence and increased aspiration and inclusion for all. The main purpose of the Community Learning (CL) fund is to reach disadvantaged communities and individuals, to enable them to develop new skills, participate in learning and to progress towards further learning, volunteering and/or sustainable employment. Adult Learning Kirklees supports wider government policies on localism, social justice, stronger families, digital inclusion and social mobility
