* This notice is a PIPELINE NOTICE and therefore is NOT currently a call for competition. For the avoidance of doubt, the Pipeline Notice is intended to provide the most accurate forecast currently available for the council's high value procurement activity, but does not commit the council to procuring any contract and may be amended after publication. No further information other than that captured in this notice can be provided at this time. * The council intends to commission short breaks services as part of a range of support to disabled children and young people and their families. The services provide opportunities for disabled children and young people with complex needs to spend time away from their primary carer, taking part in positive activities to help foster independence and development while also providing much-needed breaks for parents and carers. Services are currently delivered through three contracts, but this may increase to four.
