For the avoidance of doubt, the Pipeline Notice is intended to provide the most accurate forecast currently available for the council's high value procurement activity, but does not commit the council to procuring any contract and may be amended after publication. No further information other than that captured in this notice can be provided at this time. * The council intends to recommission a pan-London community-based accommodation and intensive support provision for 16 and 17 year old males as an alternative to custody. This approach has been developed to address the shortfall of suitable accommodation and support in London resulting in London children being twice as likely to be placed in custody than in other parts of England.
