In September 2021, the Met Office awarded a multi-year framework for the provision of a Delivery Partnership Framework (DPF). The DPF was a real success for the Met Office during its operation, and now the time has come to review options going forward and for the Met Office to start thinking about a new Delivery Partnership Framework (DPF 2). DPF2 will be a mechanism to facilitate agility and innovation in the Met Office through a compliant and flexible commercial construct. The Met Office wishes to speak to the market to gain their insights and experience in this field which may be fed into the development and make-up of the DPF2.

The Met Office intends to hold a virtual supplier market engagement event (Supplier Event) on 23 June 2025. Prior to this event Met Office will be issuing this DPF2 PME document and a DPF2 PME Request for information (RFI) questionnaire. The RFI contains questions for potential suppliers to complete. Responses to the RFI are not required prior to the virtual supplier event but must be returned by 30 June 2025.
