Description
The environmental maintenance & landscaping work/ services at Schedule 3 (Scope & Description of Works) include bin store cleaning; pull out bins; bulk removal; sweeping, litter collection & sharps removal; weed control; tree/ shrub pruning; tree & hedge cutting; grass cutting; power washing; condition and programming reports. within the Employer’s approx. 277 properties, offices, 67 communal paths/ spaces and play areas as listed in the Schedule of Addresses & frequencies (Schedule 1), Castlemilk, Glasgow G45.
Total Quantity or Scope
The tender documents comprise the SPD document [minimum selection standards]; and the Specification of Works [tender & contract document]; which includes instructions for your Tender Quality Submission [CDP]. Complete and return [upload] tender documents electronically to the PCS postbox facility via the Contract Notice, which must comprise all of the following for the tender to be valid: SPD [via SPD Module on PCS] CDP Tender Quality Submission [word format] Evidential attachments Pricing spreadsheet schedules 1&2 [excel format] Form of Tender and Schedule 9; Commercially Sensitive Information The tender evaluation will comprise the SPD, your quality score for your Tender Quality Submission [CDP] and the Contract Sum stated on the Form of Tender. The submitted SPD will assess the selection criteria as a pass or fail to identify candidates who pass by meeting the specified criteria. Only those candidates who achieve an SPD pass will have their tender quality and cost considered/ evaluated. The criteria for scoring will be to reach a total percentage score as follows: Price (tender)- deducting 1% from 100 for every percentage point each tender is in excess of the lowest tender, prior to weighting. Quality- Tender Quality Submission [CDP] scoring will be maximum 100 marks, submissions ranked in relation to the other candidates based on the Employers’ stated aspirations/ requirements and the information provided by the candidate(s). Tender Quality Submission [CDP] scores will be converted to a percentage, prior to weighting.
Renewal Options
The initial contract is from 1st April 2026 to 31st March 2027, with options to extend the contract solely at the Employer’s discretion on an annual basis thereafter to 31st March 2031.
