Description
These services relate to “light touch services” under the Light-Touch Regime as set out in Schedule 3 to the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, using common procurement vocabulary (CPV) codes. The Authority has conducted a call-off from the Crown Commercial Services (CCS) RM6219 Learning and Training Services Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for this requirement.The Department for Work and Pensions “The Authority” has awarded a contract to deliver occupational health (OH) training for line managers in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), specifically IOSH Managing Occupational Health and Wellbeing. This initiative aims to improve early intervention, workplace adjustments, and employee recruitment and retention by equipping line managers with the knowledge and confidence to support employees with health conditions.
Total Quantity or Scope
This procurement aims to pilot funded occupational health (OH) training for line managers in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), specifically IOSH Managing Occupational Health and Wellbeing. Insights from this pilot may inform future policy development, including recommendations from the upcoming Keep Britain Working review.The initial value of the Occupational Health Training for Line Managers requirement is £0.8m and has been procured as a further call-off competition for a single contract under the Crown Commercial Services (CCS) RM6219 Learning and Training services Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS).In the event that the estimated volumes of IOSH Managing Occupational Health and Wellbeing course places for the Occupational Health Training requirement is forecast to be exceeded prior to the expiry of the contract, the Authority reserves its right, as its sole discretion, to increase the total contract value up to a maximum ceiling of £0.2m during the term of the contract. Any such increase will not alter the overall scope or nature of the contract and is subject to governance approval, available funding and delivery of the IOSH Managing Occupational Health and Wellbeing course places within the 3 month service delivery period.The award criteria is based on the most economically advantageous tender (MEAT) using a Relative Assessment model. The Technical Envelope equates to 40% of the total evaluation score and the Commercial Envelope equates to 60% of the total evaluation score.
