** PREVIEW NOTICE, please check Find a Tender for full details. ** The Council carried out two Pre Market Engagement exercises. The first PME (1) opened on the 27 September 2025 and closed on 14 November 2025 whilst the second PME (2) opened on the 16 December 2025 and closed on the 14 January 2026. Having considered the outcome of the initial PME the Council reviewed the outcomes and decided on the second PME in order to provide a better understanding of the market in relation to the division of the contract into Lots on both a material basis and a geographic basis. There was a difference in the numbers of listed materials between the two PME’s with six in the initial engagement and seven in the second PME although the overall range of materials remained the same. PME (1) attracted returns from six suppliers whilst PME (2) attracted returns from seven suppliers. Five of the Suppliers who responded were common to both PME’s with differing Suppliers making up the remainder; one in PME (1) and two in PME (2). The Tables below show the expressions of interest received for each of the Lots noting that the Suppliers may have expressed interest in multiple Lots. It can be seen that PME (2) solicited more responses per material Lot than PME (1).
