Social Prescribing is an established model of care designed to enhance both mental and physical wellbeing. It forms a core component of Universal Personalised Care, empowering individuals to take an active role in managing their health through tailored, community‑based interventions. This approach supports a wide range of people, including those: - living with one or more long‑term conditions - requiring support with their mental health - experiencing loneliness or social isolation - facing complex social needs that impact their overall wellbeing

The London Borough of Camden intends to award a contract for the period of 12 months to the three providers, as set out below: 1. Brandon Centre (North Partnership) 2. Fitzrovia Youth in Action (South Partnership) 3. Catch 22 - the Hive (Youth Lead Social Prescribing Activity development)

Legal Justification
This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contract Regulations 2015 and Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award. The 8 working days stand still period begins o the day after the publication of this notice. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by 20 March 2026. This contract has not yet been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under PSR2023 Direct Award process C.

For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Regulations 2015 and the Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award. The standstill period begins on the day of the publication of this notice. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by 20 March 2026. This contract has not yet been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR 2023 Direct Award C. The proposed Contract Award has been approved by the London Borough of Camden on 3 March 2026. There were no Conflict of Interest identified among the officer involved in the procurement process. In accordance with PSR 2023 Direct Award C, thorough assessment of the three providers was undertaken against the following Key Criteria: 1. Quality and innovation. 2. Integration, collaboration and service sustainability. 3. Improving access, reducing health inequalities and facilitating choice 4. Social Value 5 Value The results of the assessment showed the three providers are satisfying the original contract and will likely satisfy the proposed contract to sufficient standard.
