Description

This is a framework agreement with three suppliers to provide specialist labour for the delivery of track maintenance for London Underground. The framework is tendered as lot 1b under the Track Works and Resources procurement. The supply of labour will be delivered under annually awarded contracts where volumes of labour are split equally between the three suppliers. The initial term of the framework agreement is 3 years with options to extend for up to 5 additional years.

Total Quantity or Scope

The scope of the framework will include a supply of supplier personnel who will be required to fulfil roles including but not limited to: NR Controller of Site Safety (COSS) Carpenter Construction Manager Construction Supervisor Rail Stressor Level 1 Rail Stressor Level 2 Rail Stressor Level 3 Site Technical Support - Assistant Site Technical Support - Lead Site Technical Support - Team Leader T002 - Plain line and P&C T002 - Plain line only T002/T003 - Plain line and P&C T002/T003 - Plain line only Lubrication Supervisor Skilled Lubrication Operative Ultrasonic Inspector PM3/PM4 Inspector Temporary works designer Temporary works coordinator Supplier Personnel may be required to work within a Gang (which shall be made up of the number of Supplier Personnel specified by the Company in the 4-Weekly Plan) to deliver the following activities: Rail replacement Spot sleepering / Re-grouting Tube reconditioning work Alignment rectification Rail stressing Conductor rail maintenance, replacement and conversion Ballasted Track Renewal Flat bottom rail conversion Temporary Works Points and crossings maintenance Rectification of wet beds Replacement of geotextile membrane Removal of scrap materials Track drainage and treatments to deal with wet track Compacting new ballast, checking and resetting the track line, level and cant Point and Crossings Renewal Lubrication Ultra Sonics The framework is awarded to three suppliers with equal allocation of the resource requirements between the three awarded suppliers.
