Other Information

This contract has been awarded under the urgent circumstances provision of the Provider Selection Regime (PSR). This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The contract was awarded under an Urgent award as there is an immediate requirement to maintain outpatient capacity and avoid service disruption, due to increased waiting times, breaches of access standards and clinical risk to patients. There was also an NHSE mandate to use funding provided nationally for the purpose of reducing waiting times (sprint funding) and ICB Mandate for Gastroenterology, this funding was time sensitive resulting in strict parameters for activity. There are no conflicts of interest.
