Description
The services will form part of North East Lincolnshire's recovery community, providing support for substance use, aiding long‑term recovery, and strengthening people's physical and mental wellbeing. This will ensure that recovery is visible, celebrated, and embedded across the area, helping to reduce stigma and strengthen clear, accessible recovery pathways. The services will deliver tailored interventions that address substance use, promote social inclusion, and improve overall wellbeing.

| 1 | Lived Experience-Led Recovery and Community Support Services The Authority intend to award a contract to deliver a lived experience recovery organisation within North East Lincolnshire (NEL) to support adults recovering from drug and alcohol use, with the aim to develop a an inclusive, accessible recovery community for adults over 18, offering safe spaces and meaningful activities to empower individuals, reduce stigma and promote sustained recovery. This is an intention to award notice subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award. The Authority is awarding this contract using the most suitable provider process. Contract Value is £1,380,000 This is an existing service with an existing provider. The intention is to commence the contract on 11th May for a 36month period, with options to extend for 3 x 12 months. |
| 2 | Lived Experience Recovery and Reintegration Support for Prison Leavers The Authority intend to award a contract for a lived experience recovery organisation within North East Lincolnshire to deliver long-term, wraparound support to prison leavers. The service will support individuals to address substance misuse alongside improving physical and mental health. It will seek to improve outcomes across housing, employment, health, and social inclusion through collaboration with statutory and community partners. This is an intention to award notice subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award. The Authority is awarding this contract using the most suitable provider process. Contract Value is £720,000 This is an existing service with an existing provider. The intention is to commence the contract on 11th May for a 36month period, with options to extend for 3 x 12 months. |
| 3 | Lived Experience Support Services for Women Involved in Sex Work The Authority intend to award a contract for a therapeutic support service for female sex workers in North East Lincolnshire, focusing on trauma-informed care and recovery support. The aim is to deliver drug-and alcohol-free lifestyles, whilst focussing on mental health and wellbeing. This is an intention to award notice subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. No conflicts of interest were declared.
