Other Information
The current APMS contract for Heath Street Health Centre commenced on 1st April 2019 with the contract term being for an initial 7 years with the option for the contractor to extend the contract for a further 3 years. Thus, the total duration of the contract awarded was 10 years. This service was commissioned by Sandwell & West Birmingham CCG with the current provider being Sandwell & West Birmingham NHS Trust. The first part of the contract, that is 7-year term, is due to reach to the end on 31st March 2026, and the provider has offered to use the 3 year extension clause in the contract. The BSol ICB PCCPB reviewed the extension and accepted the provider to continue through the rest of the contract from 1st April 2026. Additionally, it's important to point out the caveat around the total value of the contract in this notice is that it's the value was given at the start of the 10-year contract in 2019.
